Here i'm asking for suggestions on how to improve the game I'm working on called R.U.S.H.

The game can be found here: http://www.yoyogames.com/games/120790-rush-remade

Please try it out and give me some suggestions. Thanks!

The game was interesting enough for a GM game. The only suggestions I have are:
  • No melee weapon. In a game with weapons that use ammo, you might run out of ammo. You need to be able to smash someones face in in order to steal their ammo.
  • Improve your horrible wall collisions. Wall collisions for top down games aren't too hard. Here is a simple method:
    Code:
    if x + hspeed collides then x -= hspeed
    if y + vspeed collides then y -= vspeed
  • Some people don't read instructions! (like me...). When you are close enough to grab a weapon, display a message that says something like: Press F to grab the Assault Rifle
  • I also think the messages you get (like +10 hitpoints) should be displayed relative to the view, rather than the world.

Other than those, your game is really quite nice. I hope to see it done :)
